We have had a very busy start to the New Year with most of the class starting swimming lessons this week and the year four pupils undertaking pedestrian training. I was really proud to note that the behaviour both at swimming and throughout the pedestrian training was exemplary and all of class 3 represented Brandesburton Primary school really well. We have also made a start on our new theme and can define exactly what a mountain is. We have also started building 3D mountain models that we will add papier mache to next week. In English the pupils have been very amused to discover the meanings of some old proverbs and we have also tried to use some of them in class such as ‘two heads are better than one’ and ‘two wrongs don’t make a right’. It has been a pleasure to see that the pupils have all come back full of enthusiasm for learning and I am sure that we will have a great term.
