Today the whole school worked on a Zero Waste Day. In Class 3 we used the story ‘Here comes the Garbage Barge’ to explore what zero waste means. If you would like to watch the story, please click below….
We completed activities linked to the story and talked lots about what we should do instead.
We also completed a reuse challenge to turn a carrier bag into something else. We had lots of creative ideas.
Finally, we made our own landfill container to show what happens to our rubbish.
For homework, I would like you to spread the recycle, reuse and reduce message…perhaps you could make a poster or video to show how important this really is.
